THE MULTI-PURPOSE WORKBOAT (MULTISHIP) 1500. This vessel has been specifically developed to enable it to fulfill numerous rolls and applications across a broad spectrum of marine environments. Designed & Built in Holland to full “Scheepvaart Inspectie Class” this unique vessel is versatile and strong, capable of undertaking rolls as diverse as Buoy Handling, Dive Support, Harbour Duties, Pontoon Handling, Anchor Handling, Bunkering, Victualing, Towing/Pushing to Passenger & Vehicle Ferries etc. The list is endless. In standard form she offers a simply huge unobstructed deck load space measuring 11m x 4m which can be added to by the addition of a Hiab crane or can be adapted for use as a Ferry with drop down forward ramp etc. A standard container can also be accommodated. In addition the ship can be constructed to 20m length to provide additional deck load space etc. These vessels are already successfully working within the Struckton & Van Der Ven fleet of vessels in the Netherlands. Constructed in 8mm ship grade steel these versatile vessels are tough and robust able to take on any job asked of them.�

William Van Kessel maneuvering with a work barge in the extremely restricted waters of Elburg, Harbour, Holland. The vessels huge reserves of power and adept handling allow her to cope with this type of requirement with ease. Elburg is a highly environmentally sensitive and restricted area in which to handle large floating plant such as this so only exceptionally competent push tugs are able to undertake the work.

The launch of the 8 meter Multiship “Mandy” occurred last week at the Seawork Exhibition in Southampton. She performed remarkable and now looks set to be chartered here in the UK

“Mandy” our brand new 8m Multiship being readied for her journey to the UK for next weeks Seawork 2009 Exhibition at Southampton. This superb and very unique new Workboat is ideal for the UK and can navigate many of the Inland Waterways and can be easily road transported.
